Frequently Asked Questions

Ordering

How do I place an order?

Upload your STL or STEP file, configure your print settings (filament, quality, infill, etc.), add to cart, and checkout. We accept all major credit cards via Stripe — no card data is stored on our servers.

Can I order multiple parts at once?

Yes. Upload and configure each part separately, then add them all to your cart. Each part can have different settings (different filaments, quality levels, etc.).

Can I cancel or modify my order after placing it?

Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of placement, before printing begins. Once printing starts, cancellation is not possible. Contact us immediately if you need changes.

Do I need an account to order?

You can check out as a guest. However, creating a free account lets you track orders, save addresses, and reorder easily.

Files & Formats

What file formats do you accept?

We accept .STL and .STEP (also .STP) files. STL is the universal 3D printing format. STEP preserves full parametric geometry from CAD tools like Fusion 360, SolidWorks, and FreeCAD.

What happens if my file has errors?

We run automated geometry validation on every upload. If your model has non-manifold geometry, degenerate faces, or structural issues, we'll flag them immediately with a description of the problem so you can fix and re-upload before paying.

What's the maximum file size?

Up to 100 MB per file. If your file is larger, try reducing polygon count in your CAD software or contact us for bulk arrangements.

What's the maximum print size?

Our build volume is 300 × 300 × 350mm. Larger parts may be split and bonded — contact us for a custom quote.

Materials

Which filament should I choose?

PLA/PLA+ is great for most general-purpose prints — easy to work with, good detail. PETG is stronger and more heat-resistant. ABS/ASA for high heat or outdoor use. Nylon for high-strength, wear-resistant parts. Visit our Materials page for full comparisons.

Are any materials food-safe?

Food-safe printing depends on both filament and post-processing. Some of our PETG and food-grade PLA options are manufactured for food contact, but 3D-printed parts are generally not recommended for repeated food contact due to layer gaps that can harbor bacteria. We mark food-safe capable materials clearly in our catalog.

Pricing & Payment

How is pricing calculated?

Price is based on estimated material weight (grams), print time, filament type, and quality settings. You'll see a live estimate as you configure your part — no surprises at checkout.

Do you charge sales tax?

Yes, where applicable. Tax is calculated based on your shipping address and the applicable US state tax rate. Tax is displayed at checkout before you pay.

Do you store my payment information?

No. Payments are processed via Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Only your order total and Stripe's charge confirmation ID are stored on our end.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes — we run periodic campaigns with coupon codes and automatic promotions. Sign up for our newsletter or check the home page for current offers.

Shipping

Which carriers do you use?

We ship via UPS, USPS, and FedEx. At checkout, you'll see real-time rates from available carriers and can choose the speed and price that works for you.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently US-only. International shipping is on our roadmap — if you're outside the US, check back soon.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email. You can also view live status and tracking in your order history.

Quality

What quality levels are available?

Draft — fastest, visible layer lines, good for prototypes. Standard — the best everyday balance of speed and finish. Fine — smooth surfaces, good for display pieces. Exact layer height varies by nozzle size (we run 0.4–0.8mm nozzles) — you'll see the precise value for your printer when you configure your part.

What if I'm not happy with my print?

We stand behind our quality. If your print has a defect (not user design errors), contact us within 7 days with photos and we'll reprint it at no charge.
